PSL 6 Many national cricketers proved to be a burden on franchises

Lahore: Many of the cricketers who made it to the national squad proved to be a burden on their teams in PSL 6, while the performance graph of all-rounders Shadab Khan, Muhammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, and Faheem Ashraf went down.

In the all-rounders, Shadab Khan took 9 wickets at an average of 36.11 and scored only 94 runs, Muhammad Nawaz took 6 wickets at an average of 32.50 and scored 109 runs, Emad Wasim 34.42. Faheem Ashraf took 8 wickets with a better average of 21.11 but scored only 77 runs.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan maintained their form and made it to the top. Openers Sharjeel Khan scored 338 runs at an average of 30.72 and Fakhruzzaman scored 287 runs at an average of 31.88. However, Abu Dhabi did not see any continuity during the matches. Imam-ul-Haq scored only 107 runs in 6 matches. In the middle order, Sarfraz Ahmed scored 321 runs at an average of 45.85 and Muhammad Hafeez scored 271 runs at an average of 33.87 but Hafeez did not live up to expectations in Abu Dhabi.

Haider Khan, who scored 166 runs at an average of 20 in 9 matches, along with Azam Khan, who made it to the national squad for the first time, was also disappointed. He scored 174 runs at an average of 17.40 for a tour of England in violation of Haider Bio Bubble. Out of the team, Salman Ali Agha scored 35 runs in 4 matches.

Among the top bowlers of the event, Shahnawaz Dhani has been selected only in the national Test squad. Mohammad Hasnain took 9 wickets at an average of 32.44, Arshad Iqbal took 8 wickets at an average of 32.50.
