Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry has said that India has no right to speak on the issue of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter.

Reacting to the Indian statement on the issue of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter, he said that the remarks of the Indian Foreign Ministry were unwarranted.

He said that India’s campaign against Pakistan was well known.

It may be recalled that Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had recently said that the case of alleged abduction of the daughter of the Afghan ambassador has been fully investigated by Pakistan. “We want milk to be milk and water to be water and the Afghan ambassador to cooperate with us on this issue,” Qureshi said. We do not want Pakistan’s opponents to use this case as propaganda against us.

“I have called the Afghan foreign minister regularly and assured him of my co-operation,” he said.
